If you are pregnant, these 5 items are sure to make your experience more enjoyable. Most of these products I used regularly and highly recommend them if your expecting. Below you will find my TikTok video. Vamos!
Part 2 | Five things I used during my pregnancy
1. Body Pillow
Support your back and growing belly.
Initially during the first 1-4 months of your pregnancy you may not need this pillow, however, I recommend getting this pillow early on to get used to sleeping with it and having it in your bed. It does take up some space, however, it will help you sleep so much more comfortably as your belly gets bigger and you need that extra support underneath your belly and back.
2. Body Scrub
Indulge in a Mini Spa Day During Pregnancy
Exfoliate your face and other area (i.e. face and neck) that may have “darkened” during your pregnancy. Sometimes this happens in the latter months of your pregnancy 7-9 months or in some instance it does not occur. I recommend purchasing a body scrub in your favorite scent (or any scent you can tolerate during pregnancy ?). Tree Hut has a good selection of varying scents and so does Dr. Teal’s.
3. Sleeping Aid
Relief for nausea and insomnia.
*Consult with your doctor before taking. Some doctors recommend sleeping aids to help relieve the symptoms of nausea. In addition to helping with nausea, the sleeping aid will help you fall asleep if you experience insomnia (another lovely symptom of pregnancy). These pills are very small, however, taking an entire pill is very strong! I recommend breaking the pill in half or even into smaller pieces to help you fall asleep (even for a little while) and not wake up super drowsy. A little bit will go a long way!
4. Water Bottle
Stay hydrated for a healthy pregnancy.
During pregnancy it’s common to feel constantly dehydrated (like me ?♀️). To avoid feeling dehydrated, keep your favorite water bottle at hand! I recommend purchasing a medium-sized water bottle that’s easy to carry around (not too bulky) because you’ll want to bring it with you everywhere you go. Tip: Make sure to add lots of ice to your drinks especially during those hot months.
5. Candy
Alleviate morning sickness.
During pregnancy you may experience morning sickness including symptoms of an upset stomach, motion sickness, or nausea. Candy that is sour or sweet can help alleviate this uncomfortable feeling. I recommend ginger flavored or lemon flavored candy.
